Dear Pleasantville Families, Students, and Community,

Welcome to another exciting school year at Pleasantville Elementary School—home of the Tigers! I am honored to serve as the principal of this extraordinary learning community where excellence is our mission and success is non-negotiable.

At Pleasantville, we believe that every student deserves a high-quality education every single day. Our dedicated teachers and staff work tirelessly to provide a learning environment that is rigorous, inclusive, joyful, and safe. We are focused on building confident, curious, and capable learners who think critically, dream boldly, and lead with purpose.

This year, our theme is “Mission Possible: Launching Excellence in Every Student, Everyday.”  We are preparing every student to explore new worlds of knowledge, reach for the stars, and achieve academic and personal greatness. Just like astronauts, our scholars will be equipped with tools for exploration—resilience, collaboration, and innovation.

As we launch into this new year, here are a few commitments you can expect from us:
